Dillingen, Germany 1950s. Large light blue enameled pendant light. Originally located in the 'Dillinger Hütte', a smeltery in the Saarland region. Because of the intense heat of the ovens the bulbs blew too often. The workers decided to drill holes into the lamps to release the heat in the lampshades. Porcelain Socket for E27 Bulbs. Newly wired.
